At Neinstein LLP, we believe the most effective learning happens through hands-on experience. Our Summer and Articling Student Programs offer an immersive introduction to personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. As a student at Neinstein LLP, you will work closely with some of Canada’s most experienced and respected litigators and dedicated staff. You will gain practical, hands-on legal experience that will prepare you for a future making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

  • WHY CHOOSE NEINSTEIN?

As a boutique civil litigation firm, we offer a unique experience you will not find at larger firms. Students are encouraged to attend and actively contribute during all stages of the litigation process. Through active participation and guidance of a mentor, our focus is to provide the most practical student experience possible.

Comprehensive Training: From your first day at Neinstein LLP, you will be entrusted with meaningful work and assignments from lawyers across various practice areas. Our students gain hands-on experience with both written and oral advocacy. You will have opportunities to communicate with clients and opposing counsel; draft pleadings; and attend and prepare materials for motions, examinations for discovery, mediations, pre-trials, and trials.

Mentorship: Each student is formally paired with a dedicated lawyer who will offer support and provide personalized guidance. But mentorship at Neinstein LLP is a team-wide commitment, every lawyer is invested in your growth and success.

Responsibility and Growth: At Neinstein LLP, students are seen as future colleagues. As a boutique firm, we can provide real responsibility and meaningful opportunities, not just observational learning.

A Proven Path to Success: When we invest in our students, it’s with a long-term vision. Presently, over 50% of our lawyers began their careers as students at Neinstein LLP. Five out of six of our most recent articling students have returned to the firm as associates.
