As an Associate at Neinstein, Lianna leverages her background as a registered nurse, and holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters in Public Policy and Administration. Her experience as a practicing nurse is a true differentiator,  informing her unique perspective, with invaluable insights into medical-legal issues and patient advocacy  that complement her strong analytical mindset.

Lianna is an active peer mentor for new law students while participating in Pro Bono Students Canada and the Medical Malpractice and Professional Liability Association. She oversees the student recruitment process at Neinstein. She is currently a member of the Medico-Legal Society and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

Most recently, Lianna contributed to the trial team in KB v Guhle (2025 ABKB 0474), one of Canada’s most significant medical malpractice trials.
