Michael is Head of Mass Torts at Neinstein, where he specializes in personal injury litigation and mass torts, from motor vehicle accidents and accident benefits claims, to occupier’s liability cases. Celebrated for his solutions-oriented mindset and strong analytical abilities, he has represented clients in many high-profile mass tort cases. Highlights include acting for 250 young Canadians in a mass tort against vaping giant JUUL, and representing Canada’s largest school boards in a lawsuit against social media giants Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook, Instagram), Bytedance Ltd. (TikTok) and Snap Inc. (Snapchat) for disrupting students’ fundamental right to education.

In 2024, Michael was appointed to a subcommittee of Ontario’s Civil Rules Review Working Group to increase efficiency and access to justice for Ontarians.rs.
